Chaffee BoCC addresses extension of local disaster declaration as COVID-10 pandemic continues – by Jan Wondra
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, the Chaffee Council of County Commissioners faces another full day of agenda items. Among these points will be the consideration of resolution 2021-67 Ratification and extension / amendment # 14 of the Local Disaster Declaration
Items include a discussion of the County Private Activity Bonds allocation by Housing Director Becky Gray and a public hearing to consider a resolution and deed of guarantee from the Salida School District to transfer 9051 CR 140 to the county. from Chaffee Unincorporated, Colorado, to Chaffee County.
The county will also consider a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) -FLMAA right-of-way process for the replacement of the dangerous bridge over the Arkansas River to Granite for CR 397 involving certain BLM plots and will consider a letter of support for the USFS. Salida Ranger. District for the CPW 2022 Non-Motorized Trail Grant.
The final Ogden-Plat main subdivision preliminary plan submitted by claimants Ralph and April Ogden for their property at 12806 CR 190E was continued until October 12.
